June 2015 Workshops Full - Now Considering September Date - Project Prototypes For Sale

It has been quite a while since we put a posting up on here, so we thought it was about time for an update! There is quite a bit of news, so here we go....

As you will see from our website, the only remaining couple of places for our two Little Vintage Toy Shop Workshops taking place in June, were snapped up within hours of booking going live on the website. The response from those on the Reserve List offered priority places at the very beginning of January was amazing, with an incredible immediate uptake in excess of 90%, which is unheard of compared to previous workshops.
Work still in progress....
Thank you everyone for your wonderful enthusiasm - we hope you are all going to enjoy this particular project, as much as we have enjoyed putting it together!

But now the hard work begins on our part, wood and materials are already on order in readiness, and we will begin the mammoth task of constructing the hundreds and hundreds of components very shortly! Once next week's Thame Fair is over and another lovely magazine feature completed by the end of the month (more about that another day), then we shall be working flat out on the workshop project over the next 4 months.

SEPTEMBER RESERVE LIST

Due to further enquiries from people who could not make the June dates, we are considering running this same workshop for a third time, on Saturday September 19th. Please do get in touch with either of us asap if you would like to come and we will add you to the September Reserve List. All people on the Reserve List will automatically be offered a place if we are able to get enough people together to proceed with this. We are happy to offer a Group Booking Discount for four or more people....so if you have a group of friends or club members who would like to come together, do get in touch.

Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair
Meanwhile, we will both be attending the Thame Dolls House & Miniatures Fair at the end of next week.... on Saturday 21st February, in our capacity as KT Miniatures and Coombe Crafts. We are in our usual places in the Main Hall by the main exit (No 30 & No 37) and as you will see, we are next to each other as usual which is nice! CLICK HERE TO VIEW FLOOR PLAN.

BIG SALE OF SOME OF OUR PAST WORKSHOP PROJECT PROTOTYPES PLUS A MAGAZINE PROJECT AT THAME FAIR!
We will be selling a few workshop prototypes at Thame Fair, in both 1/12th and 1/24th scales plus a magazine project....as both of us are drastically running out of storage space for these past little scenes, and go they must!
The following will be for sale at Thame Fair. The 1/12th scale scenes will be on Celia's KT Miniatures Stand, the 1/24th scale scenes will be on Robin's Coombe Crafts Stand.

 Vintage Porch Scene

1/12th Scale Vintage Porch Scene - as seen in DHMS Projects 2015 Magazine - featured as a "how to make" project.

The Little Village Hall is being offered on both scales.
The Other  Room is being offered in both scales.
The Village Hall Scene & Other Room Scene have been designed to sit side by side, as there are sliding doors on the left hand side of the little room, or they could be used on their own. These are versatile and could be staged in a variety of ways.
Underneath The Little Arbour is being offered in both scales and can stand alone or butt up against a dolls house.
The Little Old Washing Line is being offered in both scales and can stand alone or butt up against a dolls house.
If you are coming to Thame Fair....do drop by our stands and say "hi"....we would love to see you!!
Regards
Celia & Robin
